UPDATE FEBRUARY 2001 !!

HAIL METAL MADDMEN!!

Well, it has been a while. I've been busy with the bands. Both bands, BLACK ROSE (THIN LIZZY Tribute) and MADD HUNTER will play their debut gigs in March. March 16th BLACK ROSE opens for TONGUE-N-GROOVE at Bobs Bar & Grill in Bridgewater. And at the same Bob's Bar & Grill, MADD HUNTER will play it's first show, opening for T-HOUSE OF THE ALMIGHTY, on March 24th. Mike and Kevin (MADD HUNTER and BLACK ROSE Guitarists) recently returned from Ireland, where they did an acoustic version of "Dancing in the Moonlight" at the annual THIN LIZZY Vibe. I guess the whole band got invited next year to play. We'll see what happens.

MADD HUNTER recorded BLACK SABBATH'S "A National Acrobat" for a BLACK SABBATH Tribute 3-CD set. This still hasn't come out yet, but the same recording is available on Priority Music Comp, Vol I. Priority music is where the band recorded this track, and the other bands on it are mostly of the old school or Death variety. BALLBUSTER MAGAZINE's long awaited 2-CD comp set, "Ballone: Strike two" is out, and available here. 35 bands, including some members formerly of DIO, ACCEPT, TALAS, etc. You'll also find MADD HUNTERs "On the Road & In the Wind" in this compilation. Other new product to tell you about: MUTINY is a Greek band playing some great POWER Metal. The singer sings high in the Tate/Halford tradition. He sounds a bit like Geddy Lee, but without the high shrill. The other band is PERFECT CRIME. Basically were talking Teutonic POWER/PROG. If you're into that, you'll be into PERFECT CRIME.

Pay attention here: Because of the new job, and because of the two bands I'm currently in, I'm going to have less time for the distro. Therefore, I have decided to LOWER prices. Billy played Hammond B organs through 4 cranked guitar amps. He handled all the bass parts and lead stuff on the keys. Remniscient of old DEEP PURPLE / URIAH HEEP. This is not a CDR. THEOADORE MUDDFOOT (U.S.) - "The Beauty of The Swamp" - This one is interesting. Young band, with 2 guys and 2 girls- Alternative/Metal riffs. Girl is a great singer, remniscient of early Ann Wilson in HEART.

THUS DEFILED - "Through the Impure veil of Dawn" - Fantastic symphonic Black Metal in the EMPEROR Vein. A must for fans of this style!!

GME has received some cassettes and magazines. Some have come as a result of some trading, while others like cassettes are for the most part sent by the bands as demos. Most of the cassettes are one copy only, so again list alternatives when ordering. Also, due to postage costs we need to require you to purchase at least three of these items at a time, in any combination. Foreign orders add $1.00 per item. If you are ordering a CD or a "T"-shirt along with any of these items, then neither the 3-item rule or the additional $1.00 charge for foreign orders apply!
